Exhibition opening at Seville of the X BIAU,
Ibero-American Architecture and Urbanism Biennial, “Displacements”.
October 2 2017, at 19.30 pm at the Antiguo Convento de Santa María de los Reyes
(Calle Santiago 33, Seville).
In this itinerancy, the convening institutions (Ministerio de Fomento, CSCAE and Fundación Arquia) have the support of the Junta de Andalucía, Jofebar and PanoramAH!.
The exhibition will remain open until November 3 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
“Displacements” installation designed by Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos, will host until 4th of June at the Triennale di Milano, the X BIAU Ibero-American Architecture and Urbanism Biennial.
The installation has been designed as a lightweight zig-zag modular structure that suggests a conceptual contradiction as an “open wall”, in which the 26 award-winning works are exhibited in lightboxes, among with “graffiti” hand drawings by Souto de Moura, Ibero-American Prize. Catalogs and newspapers can be picked-up freely by visitors.
22.04.2017 / 04.06.2017 – X BIAU in Triennale di Milano
The X BIAU, Ibero-American Architecture and Urbanism Biennial, “Spiazzamenti / Displacements”, curated by Ángela García de Paredes and Ignacio Pedrosa, will be opened in the Triennale di Milano the 21st of April 2017, at 19.00 pm.

The project Sketch for Syria will kick off next January 17 with an exhibition at the IUAV School in Venice, organized by IUAV with the collaboration of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture. Paredes Pedrosa is one of the 132 architects from 26 different countries who have taken part in the collection of ideas and concepts.
The X BIAU entitled “Displacements” and curated by Ángela García de Paredes, Ignacio G. Pedrosa and Alvaro Puntoni as associate curator in Brazil, will take place next October 10, 11 and 12 in São Paulo. In this edition, 1.111 works have been submitted showing the imprint of people in cities and in the Ibero-American territory.
