Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos invited to take part in 2017 edition of W.A.Ve. workshop at the Istituto Universitario Architettura di Venezia (IUAV) with the research topic “Aleppo Souqs: WAR heritage vs. RAW Heritage”. With collaboration of UNESCO, United Nations, ESCWA and Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
Ángela García de Paredes (Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos) will be lecturing June 9 at the seminar “La Arquitectura del espacio expositivo” about architecture in exhibition spaces, organised by Helga de Alvear Foundation in Cáceres. The seminar will be presented by José Mª Viñuela Díaz (Trustee of Helga de Alvear Foundation) and architects Emilio Tuñón and Nieto y Sobejanot will complete the lineup of the day. Ignacio G. Pedrosa (Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos) invited to the PUCP School of Architecture and Urbanism in Lima. He will be lecturing about “Time in Space” on May 8 at 6:00 pm on the occasion of the final thesis jurys kick off, in which he will form part as international jury among with colombian architect Daniel Bonilla (Tab). Place: Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo PUCP – Hall T103.
“Displacements” installation designed by Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos, will host until 4th of June at the Triennale di Milano, the X BIAU Ibero-American Architecture and Urbanism Biennial.
The installation has been designed as a lightweight zig-zag modular structure that suggests a conceptual contradiction as an “open wall”, in which the 26 award-winning works are exhibited in lightboxes, among with “graffiti” hand drawings by Souto de Moura, Ibero-American Prize. Catalogs and newspapers can be picked-up freely by visitors.
