Our latest book release presentation will take place during the next weeks in RSI Troy (NY) and Finsa21(Madrid). The book, tittled “The dream of space produces forms” and edited by Spain Ministry of Development (Ministerio de Fomento), features Paredes Pedrosa’s proposal for Venice Biennale 2018 – 16 Mostra Internazionale di Architettura FREESPACE.
The book features an introduction by Richard Ingersoll, and photographs by Luis Asín, Imagen Subliminal and Ronald Halbe.

“Material Architecture”
The lecture series, curated by Luis Fernández-Galiano under the theme of “Material Architecture 2”, will address the materialization of the architecture project through six case studies: six recent buildings completed by contemporary architects explained by themselves.
Ángela García de Paredes will explain the Public Library in Ceuta built on an archaeological site. Jacques Herzog, Dominique Perrault, Carme Pinós, Josep Ricart (H Arquitectes) and Enrique Sobejano close the list of participants.

The Ministry of Culture and Sports of Spain, in collaboration with Medina Azahara of Junta de Andalucía, organizes the conference and talks “The challenges of Heritage” that will have feature the Vice President of the Government of Spain and the UNESCO General Director. This meeting, open to the public and professionals, will explore the possibilities of historical heritage as a resource not only economic, but also educational, environmental, cultural and scientific.
The first part, at 12:00 hours, will include the participation of italian architecture historian Francesco Dal Co and the Spanish architects Fuensanta Nieto and Ángela García de Paredes from Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos.
