CEU University extension

Madrid

2021 –

Designing a new university building implies, beyond the perfect resolution of its functional program, to think the university campus as a meeting point and common ground for people who share in place and time the university as a place for knowledge.
It is for this reason that the project proposes the connection of the open spaces of this “compressed” campus and the connection of the existing building with the built extension and with the surrounding streets through a pedestrian street and a garden. The connection through the necessary open spaces, with the common spaces for students and teachers in the new proposed “Damascus Road” will materialize the construction of the new campus.
