Shortlisted Women Architect of the Year 2018
Ángela García de Paredes and Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos work, Two Houses in Oropesa, have been shortlisted for the Women Architect of the year 2018 award granted by The Architectural Review and The Architects Journal.
The award aims to recognize and reward the works and designs made by architects from around the world promoting models that serve as inspiration and example for other professionals.
They also opt for the prize Sandra Barclay from the Barclay & Crousse office (Peru), Biba Dow from Dow Jones (United Kingdom) and Stephanie Macdonald from 6a Architects (United Kingdom).

Lugo Auditorium ENOR Awards Finalist
Our project Lugo Auditorium has been awarded as 3rd finalist in the ENOR Architecture Awards 2017. The jury’s decision with the awarded works, and the presentation of the book of the seventh edition of the Enor Awards, will take place in the month of November 2017.

Two Houses in Oropesa Fritz Höger Preis Special Mention
Our project Two Houses in Oropesa has been awarded with a Special Mention in the FRITZ HÖGER PREIS 2017 FOR BRICK ARCHITECTURE under the category of SANIERUNGSPROJEKT (heritage intervention).
The Fritz Höger Award for Brick Architecture, awarded for the first time in 2008, is presented every three years. This year The Initiative Bauen mit Backstein (Brick Building Initiative) is presenting the “Fritz Höger Award 2017 for Brick Architecture”, which honours special architectural achievements in brick construction. Is oriented to architects who take advantage of the architectural potential offered by brick, the traditional building material, to create modern and timeless buildings.

Lugo Auditorium nominated for EU MIES award 2017
Lugo Auditorium among the nominated works that the European Commission and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe have announced for competing in the 2017 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award.
The Jury members will shortlist 40 projects and select the 5 finalist works which they will visit in April. The process will culminate with the Award Ceremony on May 26 at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion,
